Dr. Cristina Polizzi-Woods spent most of her early years working for her father's practices in various capacities. She graduated from Siena College with a Bachelor of Science in Biology in 2007. She attended and graduated from University of Houston College of Optometry in 2014. While attending optometry school, she participated in research projects pertaining to dry eye syndrome and even presented a poster at the American Academy of Optometry meeting. After graduation, she was lucky to work alongside her father for a few years prior to his passing. Dr. Cristina Polizzi fits soft and hard contact lenses, is medically trained and can treat a variety of diseases.
When she is not working, Dr. Polizzi enjoys spending time with her family and friends, cooking and baking. She has one beautiful son, named Sebastian, who definitely keeps her busy! We hope you get to meet her and share in her knowledge and love of vision care.
